Powder Days!

The Cascades are a snow-riders’ paradise right now.  Mount Baker ski resort in Washington has received 130″ of snow in the past nine days!  The resorts on Mt. Hood have received multiple feet as well.  With lots of snow comes lots of fun- but common sense and safety are vital.  Sadly, as of today a skier is still missing at Mt. Hood Meadows resort.  Thus, if you venture out into the wonderful, white mountains, please be safe.  Ski/ride with a partner, educate yourself beforehand on avalanche and tree well safety, use the proper gear and be sure to tell your friends and family where you’ll be.  Be safe, have fun and enjoy the bounty the Pacific Northwest is giving us!
