Neck pain and tightness is becoming more common with the use of computers, tablets and phones. Looking down at your technology places too much stress on the joints of your neck thereby causing your muscles to tense up to support the weight of your head. The best way to correct this is to limit your time using your devices. If/when this is not possible be sure to keep your head/neck in as neutral of a position as possible. In other words, make sure your head is level as if you were walking on a flat floor. It is a very simple thing but often forgotten when engaged in other things. Remember, posture is a habit. Make it a good one!
