  1. Keep to a sleep schedule – go to bed and wake up at the same times every day, including weekends.
  2. Keep your bedroom dark and quiet.
  3. Eliminate screens from your bedroom.
  4. Avoid large meals and caffeine too close to bedtime.
  5. Limit alcohol use.
  6. Exercise during the day.
  7. Limit any naps to a maximum of 20 minutes.
