The two most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The differences? OA is much more common and typically develops slowly, while RA often has a rapid onset of symptoms. OA usually affects only a few joints, while RA commonly affects many joints, including the small joints of the hands, wrists, and feet. RA often causes a general feeling of sickness and fatigue as well.
Treatments can vary for both types of arthritis. We here at Marcum Chiropractic have helped many people with one or both types of arthritis. We strive to help more and, ideally, help prevent either from becoming a reality for you.
If you’re dealing with either OA or RA, give us a call to see how we can help you. We are here for you!
